Abel had a fantastic 2017. The end of July, he went on the road with his breeder and friend Phoebe Booth to go for his AKC championship. It was really hard to let him go, I thought for sure he’d be away until late fall, as getting a CH title is not easy. Was I wrong!! Abel showed in 8 shows total, taking WD in 6 of those shows, and finishing with 4 majors! He had his title in 2 weeks plus one day. He was back home with me Labor Day weekend. I can’t thank Phoebe enough for getting this title for him. Now Guido has one champion offspring. Abel also is still doing well on the straight track, running as a high grade B.
Here are Abel and his buddy Hank on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Both boys finished their ASFA Field Championships that weekend.
